Description: I have been working in Textile Industries from last six years as a chief plant engineer.it was observe the processing and garments sectors are utilizing earth resources with out even measurements. Mostly there were not any system of energy conservation. Resources management waste management in production units. i want all industrialists must welcome this forum and come together with competition towards earth resources life and sustainability. some of the solution are: water uses: The water consumption in Textile processing and garments industries must be measured (m3/h) and its consumption must be noted and studies should be encourage to minimize the water consumption. water treatment plants must be functioned and that water should be used in washing mechanisms with control parameters. Embrace the change Once you start measurements consumption it means you embrace the concept and then things will get easier and easier. Energy conservation and utilization by maintenance: Most of the industries having keen eyes on wastage . Electric energy wastage due to non ideal operation units.such units,Motors, and instruments must monitor and maintenance scheduled should be made and followed.it will not only help to save energy and earth resources but also give long life to machines with better productivity. The conservation of energy from root level to upper level must be followed.The steam condensate to Chiller water all the energy.All must be collect back and reuse. Make smarter Business decision The old method and techniques were getting absolute.The old Methods were using more resources and less productions-we have to adopt the latest technologies that can help us to minimize the uses of earth resources and can also help us to make better quality . use Water less dyeing,COLD dyeing process,Green dyeing technology, Mechanical finishes must encourages. Use re-generated Sources: Tencel Recycling of products (Repreve-Refibra-) Minimize use of Petrochemical waste based raw materials. And More important Go green,Minimize paper work.....and Plant more trees,,,,,,,
