Description: The State University of Londrina's Solar power plant project aims at providing 15% of the power used by the university structure. This project is being built as a roof over the car parking lot as a green solution for both the power bill and the environmental responsibility. The university is also developing projects on the use of biogas plants that would use the leftovers from the University restaurant (RU) in order to provide more clean energy as well as autonomous sources. Other projects already being discussed are the scientific researches from educational centres to engineering and maths, and also the setting of a wind turbine generator on campus.

Why I love this solution: I am a proud English language teaching undergraduate student at the State University of Londrina and I am extremely happy the administration of the campus is taking care of our planet and thinking forward to a green solution for our environmental issues.
