Description: We stop creating waste that needs to be recycled or worse pollutes our waterways, oceans, and planet. I keep a stack of reusable cloth bags near my front door within visual range so I can grab them on my way out to the store. I also leave a few in my car for any last minute trips. Every reusable bag reduces the growing pile of earth damaging waste we create each year. For legislation we need all plastic bags banned from grocery store checkouts, produce sections, bakery and meat departments. We have other viable options that must be made mandatory to use. Those options should focus on compostable containers and utensils to truly create a natural green cycle.

Why I love this solution: It is my responsibility to use products that do not cause harm to myself, others, and our planet. A simple cloth bag is available to everyone. Even reusing cardboard boxes. I have no excuse and must do everything I can to be part of the solution, instead of the problem.
