Why I love this solution: This solution starts with families and "bubbles up" to the entire society, which is the way change actually takes place. This solution will mesh with actions that start at the top and "trickle down" to families. Families are responsible for way over half of the carbon in the atmosphere with our travel, diet, HVAC, daily electrical use, and the stuff we buy. But emphasis up to now has been on changes in business and government, not in everyday life. This workbook is in English and Spanish. It has a coloring book feature for the younger kids and relevant word games for older kids. It is spiral bound 8 1/2" X 11" and printed on recycled paper using soy based ink. Any environmental organization that wants to can advertise the book as a fund-raiser.
